Howard McGurty
Founder
As our founder and inventor of the very first Phantom Sound speaker system, and holder of numerous industry patents, Howard is most often still found in our lab with a soldering iron in hand, tweaking, improving, and working on the next new product offering. Music has always been a part of his life; from playing trumpet with James Brown to providing sound systems to the likes of Bruce Springsteen, Ike and Tina Turner, The Supremes and even our own Cincinnati Symphony; his passion for better sound, and a better experience for the customer, is behind everything we do. When not creating a better listening environment for our customers, Howard can be found spending time on the lake, or flying in his Cessna 172.
Ben Sicking
Manager of Technical Support
With an Electronics Engineering Degree in hand, Ben started designing and installing sound sytems for Phantom in 1998. As Manager of Technical Services, Ben is still responsible for leading our installations, and working with the team to design your system. Whether new construction, or an existing home, Ben has never found a room he can't install speakers in! While complex theater rooms are his forte, he will improve the quality of sound in any environment your throw at him. Inside or out! His other passions are gaming (X-Box over Playstation if given a choice) and traveling the region looking for new mountain bike trails.
Deb Bryant
Accounting
With over Twenty—uh, with several years of accounting experience, Deb is in charge of administration and accounting for Phantom Sound. Basically, she keeps us on the straight and narrow, and pays the bills. Please contact her with any invoice or billing questions. With two teenage kids at home, I'm sure your questions will be the easiest part of the day.

Some of you may remember a commercial a few years back, about a guy who loved the product so much, he bought the company. Me, too! As a customer of Phantom, and friend of the family for many years, I jumped at the chance when offered the opportunity to take the helm. Phantom Sound was founded in 1988 with the goal of providing music throughout the home. We led the way and have sparked many of the whole house audio solutions available in the industry today.

As Phantom Sound and Theater we will continue that tradition of innovation, knowledgeable and friendly service and outstanding audio / video performance.

Over our 27 years, we have had fun getting to know our clients who have become loyal fans, by helping them enjoy music and movies inside and outside their homes. It is with gratitude we have enjoyed serving them in the Cincinnati area, all around the country and even some international locations!
